Try-Math-A-Lon
 

The Try Math-A-Lon is a traditional NSBE Competition that pits Grades 9-12 in teams together to see who can win the title of Try Math-A-Lon champion. The topics covered are broken down into the Lower and Upper Divisions each with diverse math topics. The Competition will be broken down into two respective parts, with Part 1 being a written examination, and Part 2 being an interactive competition. After the competition is over, scoring will decide which team is crowned the Try Math-A-Lon Champions!

MathCounts

The MATHCOUNTS competition is a fun and challenging math program designed for teams of four U.S. middle school students to increase their academic and professional opportunities. During the program year, MATHCOUNTS coaches provide thought-provoking, non-routine, fun problems to engage, challenge and make each participant a better problem solver.

Technical Innovations Challenge

The technical Innovations Competition, or formerly known as the Science Fair, is
another traditional NSBE Jr. competition, that pits students in a test of their
technical ability as well as their creativity. The competition allows students to explore
the very broad field of engineering to create a science project that goes in depth on a
certain field.

Technical Research Exhibition (TRE) - Oral & Poster

The Technical Research Exhibition is designed to showcase members’ skills in theoretical research, technical writing and oral presentation. The exhibition also provides an opportunity for graduate students to present their research findings while encouraging undergraduates to pursue graduate degrees. Members who have performed research in academia or industry are encouraged to participate. PRIZES WILL BE INCLUDED!
